Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has given the green light to the appointment of Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade as the Executive Secretary of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA).
Effective immediately, Agbaje-Okunade assumes her role following the transmission of an appointment letter by the Permanent Secretary, Public Service Office (PSO), Mrs. Sunkanmi Oyegbola, on behalf of the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
The appointment letter emphasizes the Governor’s expectations for Agbaje-Okunade to exhibit unwavering dedication, diligence, and a spirit of selflessness as she carries out her responsibilities, in order to uphold the trust and confidence placed in her.
Agbaje-Okunade holds an impressive educational background, including a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Westminster. She also possesses a postgraduate degree in International Relations and Democratic Politics, along with a professional certificate in Government from Harvard Extension School.

Her qualifications extend further with professional certifications in Scholarly Research from Transcontinental University, Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from the University of Cambridge, and Policy and Strategic Studies from NIPPS, among others.
Prior to her current role, Agbaje-Okunade served as the Senior Special Assistant for Development Partnerships and Economic Planning to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
