Provost of Anmak Natural Medicine Academy (ANMAK), Dr. Anastasia Akpebe, underscored the importance of embracing herbal and natural remedies for improved healthcare, emphasizing that they are a gift from the creator.
The charge was made during the recent graduation ceremony at The Prestigious University of America on September 2.

Speaking to the graduands, Dr. Anastasia reiterated that Health is Wealth, and that has not changed. She therefore urged them to return to nature (herbal medicines) as in times of old, for a more effective and speedy healing process, judging that pharmaceutical drugs has proven to be deficient.
Furthermore, she highlighted that the Natural Medicine industry, if effectively tapped into, holds the potential to make a substantial contribution to the Nigerian economy, with a value in the trillions of dollars.

The herbalist expressed profound gratitude to The University of America for its immense support to the initiative of educating practitioners and would be players in the Natural Healthcare industry to become competent Professionals.
In the same vein, Dr. Anastasia also charged the graduands to commit to good leadership at all levels, starting from the grassroot to the topmost, just as ANMAK has been doing, bringing back health from the basics.

The ceremony, hosted by Professor Micheal S. Ikupolati at Public Service Institute of Nigeria, ( PSIN), Kubwa, Abuja, awarded certificates ranging from National Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and PhD to students who had duly completed their academic years.

In his keynote speech, professor Ikupolati buttressed on the importance of good leadership for a better tomorrow, stressing that any leader without a direction can never make impact on his followers.
The great event was graced by various dignitaries and his Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was duly represented.
The graduands were presented to the President and Vice Chancellor of the Prestigious University of America, Professor Engr. Gamaliel O Prince, Prof. Princess Shullam, Vice President, International Relations and Affiliates of the prestigious university.
