FUNAAB: Solomon Destiny, the missing 200-level student of Animal Breeding and Genetics at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has been found, as announced by the Ogun state police command on Monday, September 4th, 2023

The police spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, stated that Solomon is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital. Odutola shared this information with journalists on Monday.
The message reads:
“Thank you, esteemed members, of the press, your swift and proactive actions came to bear and I am very grateful for the widespread.
“I am happy to announce before you all that our beloved 200-level student has been found and is alive but currently receiving treatment.”
The leadership of the university’s Students’ Union Government had previously sounded the alarm, reporting that Solomon was last seen near Ogboja village in the Oluwo-Osiele axis of Abeokuta. They had sought any valuable information to aid in his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kola Adepoju, the Head of the Directorate of Public Relations at FUNAAB, confirmed the incident.
“Yes, our student is missing and our University Management has swung into action by reporting the development to relevant security agencies.
“We want to assure the parents or guardians of our student that is missing, ditto his colleagues and the public, in general, that the university and security agencies are doing the needful to find him and bring him back to his parents and colleagues safely.”
However, in a news update, Adepoju confirmed the positive development, stating that they have limited information available but promised that additional updates will be provided in due course.
