This weekend, the world will bid farewell to Taiwo Odukoya, the Senior pastor and founder of The Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos.
The news of his passing, which occurred in the United States on August 7, 2023, sent shockwaves through his congregation and Nigeria as a whole.
The church’s Instagram page announced that a service of songs is scheduled for Friday, September 8th, at 5 pm, hosted at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos. This information was also shared by his daughter, Tolu Ijogun, on her Instagram story.
Since their father’s passing, Tolu Ijogun, Jimmy Odukoya, and Tobi, the late Pastor’s older children, have maintained a low profile on social media.
In August, Tolu Ijogun posted details of the burial arrangements but disabled comments. Nevertheless, she has been sharing condolences received from well-wishers on her Instagram story.
The funeral service is set to take place on Saturday, September 9th, at 11 am, and the Thanksgiving service will follow on Sunday, September 10th, at 10: 00am.

Taiwo Odukoya is survived by his five children: Tolu Ijogun Odukoya, Jimmy Odukoya, Tobi Odukoya, Timileyin Odukoya, and Jomiloju Odukoya.
