World Record: Ondo State – Christopher Bayode Olusa, a young public speaker hailing from Ajowa Akoko in Ondo State, is on a mission to make history by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest speech marathon by an individual. Olusa has spoken for over 60 hours, marking a significant milestone in his quest for a place in the record books.
The current record-holder is Ananta Ram from Nepal, who spoke for an impressive 90 hours and 2 minutes in Kathmandu back in August 2018. Christopher Olusa, undaunted by the challenge, set out to speak for a staggering 120 hours, aiming to surpass Ananta Ram’s remarkable achievement.
The epic speech marathon, dubbed “From Words to World Records,” commenced on Monday, September 11, 2023, at the DEJAVU Hotel in Alagbaka Akure, Ondo State. Olusa, full of determination and passion, plans to continue speaking for five days straight to reach his ambitious goal.
This daring feat has garnered substantial support from eminent personalities, students, and the local community in Ondo State. Visitors and well-wishers have been flocking to the DEJAVU Hotel to witness Christopher Olusa’s remarkable journey towards breaking the world record.
