The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a nurse who was involved in the medical treatment of the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. This revelation was made public by renowned Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, following her recent meeting with the State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa.

Iyabo Ojo, a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry, took to her Instagram page on Wednesday night to share a video update with her fans. During this video briefing, she delivered the concerning news regarding the ongoing police investigation into Mohbad’s untimely demise.
The actress disclosed that the nurse, whose identity has not yet been released, was taken into custody by the police.
Ojo said,
“The police have made some arrests [in connection with Mohbad’s death]. The nurse has been arrested. That I know. That’s the only information I can give you right now.
“They have arrested some people. They are asking some people to turn themselves in.”
In addition to the nurse’s arrest, Iyabo Ojo revealed that the Lagos State Police Command has also detained other individuals as part of their ongoing investigation. The specifics of these additional arrests remain undisclosed at this time, but they indicate an effort by law enforcement authorities to get to the bottom of this case.

It’s worth noting that in a previous interview, Mohbad’s father, James Aloba, expressed his suspicions regarding the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to his son before his passing. Mr. Aloba voiced concerns that the injection could have exacerbated his son’s health condition.
