The Ondo State House of Assembly has served a letter of allegation to the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa. This comes after several days of evasion and a mild drama that unfolded at the deputy governor’s office.

The letter of allegation, a crucial legal document, was delivered to Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s office precisely at 3:16 pm on Monday. The delay in serving the document had raised eyebrows, as the deputy governor had reportedly been avoiding this moment.

However, tension gripped the Deputy Governor’s office when members of his staff refused to accept the allegation letter from the Clerk of the House, Jaiyeola Benjamin. The workers cited explicit warnings from the Deputy governor himself, instructing them not to receive any communication from the House of Assembly.

Sources inside the office reported that Aiyedatiwa had gone as far as threatening to dismiss his staff if they dared to accept such a letter on his behalf. This stance further complicated the situation, as pleas and entreaties from the House of Assembly’s representatives were met with firm resistance.
